I had played it and was switching off using the companies letting them rest along with spending a few points here and there to bolster their strength. Yeah to be honest I'm not even sure how much more difficult the last mission actually is if you lost any of your companies. Of course they want you to switch companies for progress in the campaign and when you do that the comapny that rests gets some company strength back, but they did leave it totally up to each person to decide that. Pretty clever actually, do you spend your points on keeping each of your companies strong enough to keep using the same one over and over? Or do you buy upgrades for each company and make each mission easier? They made it so that you can spend requisition points to bolster the company strength, but those points are also used to give each company and its abilities upgrades to use as you go further in the campaign. Losing men in each mission carries over and your company strength suffers and decreases.Įventually leading to losing that company for the campaign. If you play one company over and over you suffer attrition. For this campaign at least, you have to rest your companies between missions.
